Day 5: Slayed the Dragon

So today I actually rode the Tail of the Dragon! Up and down. 636 turns in 22 miles round-trip. It was EPIC! Basically, it’s an awesome roller coaster except you are the operator controlling the exact track, speed, angle and toque. Conditions were perfect and I almost had the road to myself!! Overall, perfect ride.

Speaking of conditions, I am heading out today instead of tomorrow because of the forecast. I’ll head toward Nashville (and Central time zone) and stop when the weather dictates. I’ll post photos when I’m in actual coverage area.
